Great for warm-weather hiking

"I’ve been using the Icebreaker Sphere Tee for the past few weeks on hikes around San Diego, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite warm-weather shirts. It’s super breathable, lightweight, and handles sweat way better than most synthetic shirts I’ve used. Even on longer uphill sections, it never felt heavy or clingy. The biggest surprise was the odor resistance. After long hikes and plenty of sweating, it still stayed surprisingly fresh and didn’t get that “sweaty shirt funk” by the end of the day. The fabric feels really soft against the skin too, so I never had any chafing or irritation even with a pack on for hours. (I’ve been using it in high 70’s to low 80’s temps) Definitely a great tee and I would highly recommend! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review."

Fits great!

"Icebreaker gave me the Sphere Tee for my honest review. I took the tee out on a couple of hikes in the foothills where the weather was warm, dry, and dusty. As we hit the inclines I could tell the shirt was wicking sweat really well, my back never got damp with sweat, as it often does with other brands. I took my backpack off for the picture but normally my back gets sweaty from where the backpack rests and how well the product can wick sweat. I never noticed a thing. I also noticed that the shirt stayed nice and fresh - we went to brunch after the hike and I wasn’t embarrassed by smelling like I had just done a 6 mile hike. There was no residual odor or anything. I can imagine fellow patrons appreciated that. I’d highly recommend the Sphere Tee as a basic staple in your adventure wardrobe."

great lightweight merino top

"I tested this merino top while trail running, mountain biking, hiking, and at the gym; it performed well across all activities. The material is lightweight, breathable, and very comfortable, with enough stretch and room to move freely during active use. Even after sweating, the shirt stayed fresh and didn’t hold odor. It also dried quickly after workouts. The black color remained lightweight without being see-through. Overall, it’s a versatile and comfortable top that works for a variety of activities."

Awesome for Florida Heat

"I've been using this shirt constantly for the past few weeks, on and off the trail. The breathability and wicking ability of the shirt is phenomenal for hiking and backpacking in Florida's hot and humid climate (95+ degrees in full sun. ) In comparison to other merino wool shirts I've tried, this one was by far the most comfortable. The material is so light I'd forget I was wearing the shirt as it held up to everything I threw at it. The shirt is very easy to dress up, especially if you're spending a day in town. I'd highly recommend this shirt to anyone active in the outdoors."

Different neckline than sphere ii, otherwise great

"Great shirt. The topaz color is gorgeous, and the cool-lite fabric is perfect for summer hiking and everyday wear. I do have a couple of sphere ii shirts, and I prefer their slightly scooped neckline to this one, but other than that it’s perfect!"

New but not improved

"I bought a couple of the 2024 Sphere tees and love them so much, I got two of these thinking they would be similar or better. Sadly, the sizing is more fitted with less stretch, the neck opening rather snug, and the material is not as soft and feels more synthetic. They're far from my favorite tees, which is a shame given the price."

"I am always looking for reasons to wear this comfortable t-shirt. Nice feel to the fabric. I appreciate the lean cut. The armholes aren’t binding or baggy- perfect cut. The fabric drapes well alone and also layers nicely. Naturally odor resistant too!"
