Awesome fabric

"The fabric used to make the Elevation shorts is pretty amazing. It has a linen-like quality but feels more comfortable to wear. It does just fine in 90F+ humid conditions; it stands up well to abuse. Fit seems spot on (I wear a 34 waist, size 34 fits like all my other pants); the built in cinch-able belt works well Complaints? My synthetic fiber shorts all feel noticeably less comfortable now. And given how well the fabric performs, it is an out- and- out crime Icebreaker doesn’t make an 1 1/2” longer version with cargo pockets."

Merino Comfort Meets Everyday Performance

"These shorts feel premium right away. The merino blend fabric gives them a nicer, more elevated feel than typical hiking shorts, and the stretch makes them comfortable for moving, hiking, and all-day wear. The fit is clean without feeling restrictive, and the 9-inch length is a good middle ground. I also like the practical details like the adjustable waistband, secure hand pockets, back pocket, and gusseted design for better mobility. Icebreaker says they’re made with a Peakflex fabric blend of merino wool, organic cotton, and a bit of elastane, which explains why they feel both durable and comfortable. What stands out most is that they do not feel like cheap synthetic outdoor shorts. They have a more refined look, so you can wear them on the trail or casually around town without looking too technical. The merino content should also help with comfort and odour resistance, which is a real plus for travel or long active days. The only real downside is the price. At C$240, these are definitely not impulse-buy shorts, so you expect a lot for the money. But if you want a high-end pair that blends performance, comfort, and style better than most hiking shorts, these look like a strong option."

Good product but sizing not accurate

"Still waiting for the sizing issue to be resolved after I returned the oversize item"

Comfy shorts

"Great for walking around town (yet to hike in them). Size 40 provides good room in seat and legs; not baggy. Would be good over leggings. Material nice against skin and has not gotten sweaty wet and icky. Quality seems such that they will wear well and last a long time."
