Icebreaker merino wool socks are my favourite socks.

"I own a few different styles of Icebreaker socks. For work, I need to wear steel toe boots and the hiking socks are the perfect height to protect my legs so that the boot doesn't rub against my skin. The socks are the ergonomic fit and they actually fit really well and don't move around but they aren't too snug. My feet get hot and the socks wick away the moisture so my feet don't crack anymore."
