Fit & quality are excellent, but it's not as warm as I hoped

"This is exactly the type of jacket that I was hoping for in terms of style and fit. I do wish it was a bit warmer, but I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it anyway."

Yes

"I wear this fleece as a mid layer for backcountry skiing. My outer layer is a gortex shell, and the combination works great! I especially love being able to open the full length zipper during a climb. I was a little worried it would be too warm, but I was super comfortable all day. In the morning it was windy and below ten degrees Fahrenheit, and in the afternoon it was 35 degrees and sunny. I was in bliss all day!"

Minimalist travel go-to

"This is a great piece when you want more warmth. I pack it whenever I travel, as I typically also run wherever I go. I can still wear it in public after the night before's run, as it doesn't stink."

Funkster (5/5)

comfortable and sharp

"wore as a layer and just wonderfully warm and nice"

Wanderer (5/5)

Forgot to check it had a top pocket.

"Wanted to try this instead of a descender which I usually buy. A great jacket but I wish I'd noted that it doesn't have the top front zipper pocket."

Billy (5/5)

Doesn't comply with their higher number = warmer guidance

"Very light given the 560 number. I returned it"

Great lightweight merino jacket

"Perfect for traveling on international flights to warm places when you want a breathable fleece for the plane and a light jacket for evenings and early mornings. We lead safaris and this jacket fits the bill as a reliable, well made lightweight warmth layer."

MKS (5/5)

Good material, bad zipper choice, snug fit.

"I like the material - it does feel slightly thicker than a Descender sweater that I have. I've been buying Icebreaker for over 20 years and this is the first medium sweater where I feel it's a bit snug. Like another reviewer, I didn't notice the lack of a chest pocket. The other major negative is the zipper. It is way too fine a gauge - small and difficult to start, and I will be very surprised if it holds up to my typical use. C'mon Icebreaker - if you're going to sell a full zip jacket/sweater, don't put a ridiculously fine zipper on it."
