The hood is very annoying if you don't use it

"I owned handful of icebreaker merino wool blend long sleeves and this one is by far the worst from the construction point of view. First it is baggy, so if you are tall and thin it is fine like the model but of you are petite and having an hourglass shape nope! Second when you don't use the hood, if you run or walk, it is like someone grabs your throat and suffocating you. It is very very tight. when you use the hood, it is ok if you have a short hair! but having long hair makes you sweat more. The color is also black which attracts more heat! I did a test and run and walked with it and it was horrible! If you looked at my pictures you see that it doesnt fit but I wanted to keep it because of the sun protection and it failed"

Great cool weather hoody

"Use when I walk my dogs or go birding. Perfect warmth for cool days. Live by the ocean so if I need a tad more warmth bring the hood up. I am 5’3” and 130# small fits great. Washes well - hang to dry."

Great running shirt

"This shirt performs well running in the heat up to 85 degrees. The hoodie is improved from the previous version and it easily fits over my cap and it protects some of my neck. I'm 5'9 and I purchased a large and the sleeves are not quite long enough, that is why I only gave it 4/5 stars. I can still wear the thumb loops but they dig into my hand a bit. I prefer the previous cut (boxy) over a fitted cut. I prefer the previous one to this one, but it's still a high quality shirt and great for running. And it looks nice too. I think if you are 5'9 or taller you might want to try the XL for the arm length."

"This 100% Merino Long Sleeve Hoodie is my favorite piece of hiking clothing. I grab it first if I am going on a weekend long backpacking trip, a local hike, or even a walk around the neighborhood. It is perfect to keep the sun off my skin, but is also so lightweight and breathable. I can typically wear a S or M and I got the Medium and it fits great!"
